Duryodhan arrived first — the confidence of a man who believed the world owed him what he wanted. He stood near Krishna's head.
Arjun slipped in quietly. He sat at the foot, hands folded, eyes gentle. Krishna's eyes opened. He saw Arjun first.
‘I will not raise a weapon,’ said Krishna. ‘On one side — my entire army. On the other — just me.’
Duryodhan took the army and left, satisfied. Arjun said: ‘I want you, Krishna. Just you.’
